Basilica (Quebec Religious Heritage Foundation)
Inaugurated in 1829, Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica is a masterpiece of Gothic
Revival architecture located in Old-Montreal. The present church is the fourth
structure to have served as a place of worship for the first parish of Montreal
and features paintings, sculptures and stained-glass windows. Also serves for
Montreal Symphony Orchestra concerts.
