Montreal Health Services

Budget cuts have made emergency units in hospitals outrageously crowded and hospitals partly unsafe. Due to short-sighted management in the past, large amounts of medical professionals were offered retirement without checking first whether there were enough people to replace them. Doctors have become few and far between. If you find one, you can't get an appointment and lately some of them have been pressuring the government, students and patients for income negotiations. The situation has become way beyond market scarcity rules and people are starting to comment that some of them possibly make a mistake when taking their Hippocratic Oath by changing some of the letters... Canada and Quebec are both currently ruled by countryside representatives. And it partly feels like some party-only festival people took the keys to government houses for some kind of world navel celebration and never returned those keys to authorities who might have and use their actual and real thinking capacities.
