Getting Educated in Montreal - Universities, CEGEPS, Colleges,
Montreal has four universities: two in English and two in
French. Before university, students are required to attend a pre-university
college called CEGEP.
As
a high-tech hub in North America, many private institutions have emerged in
order for people to gain and maintain their expertise. Other private schools
abound as well in areas like languages, culture, etc. In view of the incredible
and interminable need for Montrealers to always be learning something new, all
institutions flourish from evening classes to mature students.
French language colleges and CEGEPS are listed in
the French section of this website.
